Interested in a plant job at a PUI?
Currently, a lot of the available faculty positions available on the market are at primarily undergraduate institutes (PUIs). But how can you find these jobs? How different is the application process from an R1? The ASPB PUI Steering Committee will be hosting a virtual workshop (Oct 11th, 2:00 pm EST) about the tricks and tips for successfully applying to PUIs. We will cover:
· Finding the available jobs
· How to research the best positions for you
· Tips on the submitted application
· Tips on the interview process
We are inviting all post-docs and graduate students who are interested in careers at PUIs. We are also inviting those of you who are currently at PUIs to share your thoughts and experiences. Finally, if you are at a PUI and conducting a job search this year, please attend so we can hear about some of the available posts!
